R&D
Everything we research serves one practical question: can a high-performance adsorbent also be made in quantity, at consistent quality?
Research programme
Five lines of work.
From the adsorbent itself to whether the technology pays for itself.
- 1
Advanced adsorbent development
Developing and characterising next-generation adsorbents for carbon capture.
- 2
Performance testing
Validating the technology under conditions close to real use.
- 3
Pilot production and scale-up
Building production that holds quality from grams upward.
- 4
Customer demonstrations
Showing the materials working in customers’ own contexts.
- 5
Techno-economic assessment
Checking that the technology scales commercially as well as technically.
Targets
What success looks like.
| Parameter | Target |
|---|---|
| CO₂ adsorption capacity | > 4 mmol/g |
| Low-temperature regeneration | ≤ 120 °C |
| Cyclic stability | > 90 % |
| Pilot-scale production | 1 · 10 · 100 g |
Roadmap
Four milestones to 2030.
Each milestone widens the batch size and brings customers in earlier.
2026
Batch scale: Lab
Adsorbent platform
Synthesis and characterisation of MOF-74 and Co-MOF-74 based materials, with carbon capture performance verified at laboratory scale.
2027
Batch scale: 1–10 g
Technical validation
Production at 1–10 g, fixed-bed validation, and the first feedback from industrial customers.
2028
Batch scale: 100 g
Field testing
Production at 100 g, field tests in carbon capture, and wider applications through strategic industry partnerships.
2030
Batch scale: Market
Commercialisation
High-performance adsorbents for carbon capture and environmental separation on the Turkish and European markets, with a stronger IP portfolio and a broader product family.
Research network
Where we build partnerships.
Where we look for partners as the programme scales.
- TÜBİTAK projects
- Horizon Europe networks
- CCUS platforms
- Industry collaborations
